Meet at your hotel in Santo Domingo (Zona Colonial) and depart for the deep south. The coastal road to the mountains leads through a dry and rocky area full of cacti and agaves.

After driving for a while, you will arrive in the provincial capital of Barahona, located on the Bay of Neiba. After passing through the city, take the coastal road towards the south, with lush mountain landscapes with a tropical climate and valleys with lush vegetation composed mainly of fruit, forest and timber trees. You will have spectacular panoramic views of the coast and the Caribbean Sea.

You will follow the road to your hotel in Quemaito, located right on the coast, where you will be welcomed with natural fresh juices and a typical lunch. Later, you will visit the Larimar workshop, where you will not only receive all the information about the processing of the Larimar stone, but also everyone will have the opportunity to work a stone themselves, which you can take home as a souvenir.
